Gannage Design & Construction has a skilled in-house crew who specialize in deck building and repair. Decks are the perfect way to expand your living space. That’s exactly what this Morro Bay Client accomplished with their roof top deck. Their French doors lead directly from their living room onto the deck, doubling their entertaining space.
Covered patios and decks are a great way to enjoy the beauty that North County summers and winters have to offer. Protection from the elements doesn’t have to just be practical, it can be beautiful too. This client in Atascadero added a covered deck off their living room allowing their kids to play inside or out and still be in the shade.
Choosing the right material and asthetic is important so your deck compliments your home. We are more than happy to discuss options and provide you with 3-D renderings of what your future outdoor living space could look like. Whether it is new deck construction or repairing an existing deck, Gannage Design & Construction has you covered.
Deck Client Reviews
“Mikhail was a pleasure to work with – good communicator, flexible, cheerful and positive (even in the face of a few unwelcome surprises). We couldn’t identify everything that needed to be done at the outset, so we set priorities and proceeded on a time and materials basis. Mikhail gave us ballpark estimates for the major components and kept us informed of the cost tradeoffs along the way. He was very reasonable and fair, and his crew was quick, efficient, and quiet. Even the neighbors loved them.George C.
The decks were completely rebuilt. The job involved two second story decks totaling over 500 sq. ft. and a long, wide stairway. Because the decks are a major feature of the house, they needed to be solid, functional, beautiful, and low maintenance.
Mikhail suggested modifications that enlarged the useable area, allowed for a gate and landing on the stairway (essential for our young grandchildren and family dogs), and provided rock solid support. He recommended low maintenance Timbertech decking with hidden fasteners and anodized aluminum railings. The result is gorgeous all the way down to the molded post bases with exposed aggregate finish.
It was a difficult and tricky project (large beams, ten feet in the air, etc.) but they handled it without a hitch.”
“Mikhail Gannage provided a comprehensive, reasonable quote, and completed the work on our deck on time, with excellent quality.
The project consisted of demolishing the (dry rotted) existing attached 450sf deck and building a 350sf replacement. We had to work out several code issues as well as facing more dry rot damage than originally expected. That is where a good contractor is essential. We did not miss a beat with Mikhail.
The framing proved to be very accurate in all dimensions, saving time and money on the buildup of the decking and glass panels. The needed extensive stucco repair and finish brought out the beauty of our new deck.
Thanks for a good experience.”Wade A.
